Precision resin processing up to 3000×1600mm (insulating materials, thermosetting resins)

It is possible to process thermoplastic plastics, super engineering plastics, large-scale processing of thermosetting resins, simultaneous five-axis machining, and precision machining of thin plates using an air suction device.

Our company owns one of the largest gantry machining centers in the industry, the "OKUMA MCV-All." It achieves a flatness of 0.01mm per 1000mm in plate thickness. The effective door width is 1,650mm, and the size of the table working surface is 3,100×1,200×1,280mm. Additionally, it has a maximum machining area of 3000×1600mm, allowing for the processing of thermosetting resins such as epoxy glass, as well as complex shapes and large precision machined products. 【Features】 ■ Maximum machining area of 3000×1600mm ■ Capable of thin plate processing ■ Achieves a flatness of 0.01mm per 1000mm in plate thickness ■ Effective door width: 1,650mm ■ Size of the table working surface: 3,100×1,200×1,280mm ■ Travel distance (X×Y×Z): 3,000×1,600×450mm *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

An example of producing a workpiece holder by machining fabric Bakelite made of thermosetting resin.

Using machining, we manufacture work holders made of thermosetting resin cloth Bakelite. We offer contract processing while considering the material's characteristics such as tolerances and distortion.

At Takimoto Giken Kogyo, we manufacture workpieces using cloth phenolic resin (Bakelite) through machining. The workpieces for industrial machinery related to the automotive sector come in various shapes depending on their design, and we adapt by changing processing machines to closely meet your requirements. Additionally, due to the presence of tapers and radii at the processing points, we perform 3D machining (three-dimensional) using Mori Seiki machines, creating 3D data from drawings via CADCAM. (If you have 3D data, please provide it.) The inspection method involves checking the received drawings with a check mark, and for areas with tolerances, we will record the actual measured values. By inspecting the parts, we aim to reduce the defect rate caused by issues that are not reflected in numbers, ultimately striving to meet your requests. ★Helpful Information Cloth-reinforced Bakelite (PL-FLE) is a phenolic resin with a cloth base material. It is somewhat more difficult to process than paper-based materials due to its layered structure, so it is advisable to avoid overly complex shapes. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
